My Gratitude List - 14 things I'm thankful for

Whilst perusing Bloglovin' a few days ago, I found a lovely post on Milk Bubble Tea by Becky titled "My Gratitude List - 20 things I am thankful for". I thought "what a lovely idea". This isn't the first time I've said this but 2015 really has not been my year as of yet. I did have high hopes for this year but sadly nothing has gone how it was meant to go. I'm pretty fed up of moaning on my blog about these issues (you probably are too!) so I'm going to share a post that is actually full of positivity and hope and share with you all the things I am thankful for, here it goes...

It's not often people find someone they connect with so well as young as 16 but I definitely have and nearly three years later we're still going strong.

The love from my family
I'm super close with my family and I can't imagine ever not being. They love me for who I am and they continue to see the best in my odd little character.

Foo Fighters
I know I'm totally obsessed but they are my life, seriously. I can't imagine what I would do without their music or their actual existence.

I am seriously struggling to put into words how grateful I am for a cup of tea. Tea allows you to become warm, happy and energised. What a lovely thing for tea to do.

No matter how much I want to cut down on it and become this super fit girl with a vegan diet - it isn't going to happen. I love food. I love the range of food I eat. I just love it and I am so thankful I have a brilliant appetite.

Summer Days
I love waking up to a blue sky, being able to go out with no jacket on and actually allowing air to get to my skin! I love opening my window and blasting out music. I love going on long walks and playing in the garden with my nephew and nieces and just overall being happy! I am so grateful for those days - although quite rare in England.

I'm grateful for all the pretty notebooks I buy and receive and able to fill with wonderful notes and organise my entire life inside.

I'm extremely grateful for finally finding a method of cleaning that I actually enjoy. Thank you VAX.

My Blog
I always say this but I am so grateful for making this blog in 2013 and always having a space to just let myself write away.

Social Media
I'm so grateful for this invention. Not only has it allowed me to connect with people all over the world; it has allowed me to let out my creative streak with my Instagram pictures and what not too!

The internet
Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without it. I'm so grateful for my BT Home Hub, my 2GB of data and just having this place to gain more knowledge on absolutely everything.

A functioning body
We completely disregard the fact that we can see everything, hear everything and have all our limbs. I am super grateful that everything I have works because I honestly don't know what I'd do if I couldn't walk anywhere, see anything or hear anything. We should always be grateful for actually having a body that works.

I'm so grateful that films and TV shows are made that allow me to escape from what could be a pretty rubbish day and inspire me with whatever is shown in front of me. I'm also grateful for books that not only allow me to escape but they allow me to be calmer and happier. Thank you.

Loving myself
I know so many people that consistently say they hate something about them but honestly I love myself and I'm very grateful I have now got that attitude. Yes, I do find things I want to improve myself but I've now gained this way of thinking that the only opinion of you that you should care about is your own.

There is probably a lot more I'm thankful for but at the top of my head this is my gratitude list. What's yours?

  1. I'm always thankful for food :) I'm also thankful for the friends I have now in real life and online. I'm thankful for having a blog and a YouTube channel.
