Hi lovelies,
My make up routine has changed slightly recently and I thought i'd update you on the change. Currently my skin is being absolutely awful - it's gone extremely dry on my forehead, flaky and i'm full of huge spots - so i'm currently trying to battle this whilst trying to make my face look half decent with the power of make up.

The thing I like to do most when I'm not comfortable with myself is use my more pricier make up. The most expensive thing I own is Nars Sheer Glow in Ceylan. At the moment I find it hard to fork out £30+ for a foundation so I've been using my Bourjois Healthy Mix. Although this NSG is practically used up I have been scraping the sides to get as much as I can out of it because it's been making me feel a lot more confident. I love my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair as it brightens my face up a lot, however I sometimes think it's a little sticky but I can't seem to find a good enough concealer to replace...hmm! I've actually started to use blush and I'm actually enjoying it! I've been a bronzer/contour girl for a long time so i'd never really used blush but I really wanted those pinky cheeks for the sunnier days. I was definitely not willing to fork out a lot of money for one though so I spent about £2 for this Collection Blush in Trouble! It reminds me of that gorgeous Illamasqua blush with the gold particles inside!

To finish off my look I'm still using my Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless in Brown (but it's black!!!) however I plan on buying a new mascara soon as this one is also practically finito! My newer purchase is my gorgeous Topshop Lipstick in Petal. I chose this as I saw Becca Rose use it so I went and tried it out and I loved it too! It's a pink nude which is safer for people with paler skin and people like me who are usually wearing bright colours and are not ready to go all out nude.

Have you got any recommendations on anything I should try for my bad skin or my new spring make up look? Please let me now in the comments!

Lots of Love
Jen xo
